As a chronic over-thinker, a lot of my work sits idle in a folder on my desktop, never to see the light of day! Okay I'm exaggerating, as I was lucky that this photo was published amongst others in an issue of AFAR last year. But, nonetheless, I have vowed to share more often and on more platforms beyond my Instagram account, which is why I submitted this photo to Life Framer's World Travelers competition today. Fingers crossed! See the whole gallery here.
Wristbands, chili dogs, boardwalk splinters, cherries, flying umbrellas, speedos, small airplanes.
It's been almost three months since we drove across the country, and I'm just catching up with our trip. 22 days, most of them through the blooming, spring desert. See the full gallery for a taste of the road.
AFAR magazine's November/December hit stands yesterday, so I put together an Instagram story with a sneak peek inside. It took me longer than I'd like to admit (!) but it was fun to pull interesting bits of the magazine out and highlight destinations with lettering. The first, "plus", and gift guide slides are screenshots of short boomerang videos that were up, like the rest of the story, for 24 hours. It got about 3K views.
